My best friend

Hi ! Today I talk about my best friend.
My best friend is my brother, his name is David and he's 17 years old.  For me, he is a very important, because we are very close, he always hears me and and is with me when I'm sad.
We love pass time together, in winter we went to bed to watch movies, drink capuccino and eat donuts. We do everything together, we cook, we clean the house, go to the cinema, study and sometimes sing. We are raising money to travel to another country, we have a piggy bank, we hope to fulfill our dream!
I hope that even being older our friendship never ends, because I have him as a brother and friend is a gift from God. We have lived many experiences, when he was little I bathed and dressed (he was like a doll for me haha). Sometimes when he is afraid sleeps with me, he is very loving and I always buy gifts for him (mainly food).
I love my brother, he's my best friend, because I know it will always be when I need it, as I will be when he needs me.

花見 (Hanami-"ver flores")

Today I going to talk about my favorite festivity. 

Hanami is a festivity or tradition belonging in Japan, in which the flowers of cherry or "sakura" are observed. 

It starts in March even April, families visit gardens and parks usually they does picnics. 

This festivity have many years, is celebrated since the time "Nara" (century VII), and indicate the beginning of the new stage more beautiful and fruitful. 

Hanami it´s related to the emblem of the "Samurai" warriors, because it means that the warrior must show it´s glory in battle and not wither as the cherry blossom.

The forecast flowering Hanami is announced each year by the office of meteorology, the first cherry blossoms of the year on the island Okinawa and the last in Hokkaido. 

My dream is to travel to Japan to participate in Hanami, take lots of photographs and share a picnic down a cherry tree, because I think it´s a beautiful tradition, the flower symbolizes the beginning of something new, beautiful and the promise of something more warm.

Hi, today I´m writing about a photograph that capture my attention.

This imagen is really impressive, and was took it by Kevin Carter.
He´s a grafic reporter South African, he was born in 1960 in Johannesburgo and he died in 1994 because of suicide.
The photografh is about a kid malnourished of Africa and nearby his placed a buzzard; this cause a bad social  reviews to Carter.
I like it this photografh because is interesting for think about the reality in others countrys called "developing", where the people is living famine, malnutricion, poverty, etc., and reflect on social inequality and injustice as a result of capitalism and his consequence. Today is necessary search for resolve socials problems, and I think that through my profession (social work) could take part in the solution to problem.
I believe that a photograph says more that a word, because through his we can looking and  confront face to face with the social reality.

The band I adore

Hi !
Today I talk about my favority band of music, they are koreans and singing a style called "k-pop".
The band is component for six boys, they are:

-Donghyun: He is liader of the band
-Minwoo: He is the most little component
-YoungMin and KwangMin: they are twin
-HyunSeong
-JeongMin

All are dancers and sings; his debut was in May 26th 2011, in Korea, with the song "Boyfriend" and his first mini album called "Love Style" in 15 June 2011.

I like The band Boyfriend because his music is profound, and the boys are vey, very, very pretty, besides they are very tenders and extroverted. I adore his music because is sensitive and the rhythm is very happy.
My dream is travel to Korea for they know his.

They travelers to Argentina for give a concert, but I don't go to because I don't have money :'(
My favorite song is "Janus", because is about a God in love, is very interesting.

I recommend listening a little and learning korean.

Why did I chosse this career

Hi, today I talk about why I chosse this career: Social Work.
When I was little I dream be transformed in police for combat the injustice of my country.
More later, I started to worry about the social injustices, for example poverty, malnutrition, literacy, etc., and I feel necessity of change the reality of them persons anybody, so I think about search for other career that could still be good.

With the time I think in some career that possess this qualitys, and I considering study Social Work, because this career is critical injustices and itself worry for people.

I am very happy with my decision because Social Work is a beautiful profession.
In my university there are teachers very interesting and wises. My classmates are very nice and intelligents.

In the future I will like work with inmigrants an children abandoned, and I wish change the social reality in my country.

Hello everyone! This is my second post of the semester.
My name`s María José Ortega, I`m 19 (nineteen) years old. I was born in 26 (twenty-six) of March in 1997.
I`m from Santiago of Chile, I live with my parents, my brother and my dog, in a little house located in the commune named "Macul". My family is very special, we are very united and happiness.

I`m studying Social Work in the Faculty Social Sciences at University of Chile, I`m in the second year of degree at the moment. I love my degree, because a Social Work believe that social change at the world.

Finally, my hobbies are read of fiction, whatching Anime and listening music in general.
My favorite country is South Corea, because her culture is wonderful.

Hi, today I to talk about my weakness and strength in English.

First, my weakness be: -bad pronunciation and low consciousness to words

Secondly, my strength be: -level half to reading texts in English, and also for listening conversations in English.

My expectation for class is learn more about the English, for example pronunciation of words, lear to writing texts and sentence in English and  expand my vocabulary.
